Founded in 2000, Precision Colloids, LLC provides custom manufactured, silica based colloids for the most demanding applications. Although other industries are served, our focus is on abrasives for use in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) slurries. Microelectronics Mirrosol is a line of polishing compounds based on colloidal silica. The particle size distribution and chemistry can be tailored to fit the individual customer's needs. Mirrosol is ideally suited to CMP (both metal and oxide), harddisk, fiber optics, and optical lens polishing. Nanosol products encompass the remaining applications for colloidal products based on colloidal silica including refractory, frictionizing, water treatment, beverage clarification, and adhesives. |
